A point worth mentioning is that each block of characters will be 12 1/2″ squares when sewn. The size of the finished block, once the top of the quilt is patched, will be 12″. So be aware at the time of production as this will completely influence you following exactly this pattern, for this model you will make the 5″ range so that the quilt is double size.
